ASTERRA EarthWorks, which provides soil moisture mapping to identify at-risk infrastructure, does indeed provide a useful and valuable new data set. This new data can locate areas of subsurface moisture that translates into drainage problems or geotechnical instabilities near critical infrastructure; individual locations can then be prioritized for investigation, inspection, and mitigation.
