Metal stamping is suitable for a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Ferrous metals (such as steel) contain iron, and as such are usually magnetic. Nonferrous metals, such as aluminum, have no iron content, making them non-magnetic and also less vulnerable to rust or oxidation.
