Southwest Medical Associates (SMA), part of Optum Care, is one of Nevada’s largest multi-specialty medical groups. In early 2021, SMA needed to build the logistical processes for distributing vaccines, including scheduling appointments for two vaccine doses. SMA partnered with Optum Digital Scheduling, then known as DocASAP.
