In 2020, many companies were left with no option but to shut down their physical offices and send their employees home to work. A Gartner survey conducted at that time showed that 88% of companies either encouraged or required their employees to work from home. As employees transitioned to remote work, video conferences replaced in-person meetings and IT departments were forced to find technology solutions to allow for efficient and productive work. Now that some employees are transitioning back to their offices there are new challenges.
