As Techweek looked to improve the multiple competitions they run across the country, they realized that priority number one needed to be reducing the amount of time it took to compile scores. With five events, 50 judges per competition, and hundreds of startup companies per event, Techweek needed to quickly, transparently and accurately announce the Top 16 — and, ultimately, a Grand Champion. Techweek also wanted to reduce the amount of time it took to assemble and distribute the judges’ compiled reports (with 250 data points per evaluation) back to the competing startup companies.
