The prevalence of Active Directory (AD) means it isn’t just large organizations that are at risk: Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) found that 50% of organizations studied in the report had experienced an attack on AD within the past one to two years, and over 40% said that their AD implementation had been successfully breached- highlighting that adversaries aren’t just trying to attack AD—they are successfully breaching it at an unacceptable rate.
