Over the past several years, digital technologies and decentralized solutions have transformed clinical trials. Wider adoption amply demonstrates that these new approaches are able to overcome many of the challenges associated with traditional, site-based trials. It is critical for clinical trial sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs) and technology and solution providers to continue to innovate. Enabling individual technologies and services and the ways they are deployed and delivered will increase the ease and efficiency of conducting trials, optimize the volume and quality of data collected, reduce the burdens on patients and sites and unlock new possibilities.
