There is no shred of doubt that the current pandemic has increased the need for companies to better support their employees who have been tasked with caregiver responsibilities at home, in order to maintain company stability and keep their workforce intact. There is now an overwhelming need for more supportive policies for working family caregivers within the workplace. Aside from the obvious benefit to one’s company, research has shown that if such policies were implemented, that there could be an inordinate amount of gains and benefits within the economy.
