The Bosch Rexroth Smart Flex Effector is a new automation solution designed for increased precision and accuracy in a multitude of applications, including automotive, packaging, food and beverage, electronics and more. The device provides a tactile sensing ability to the end of a robotic arm. It can be easily integrated into existing manufacturing systems. The effector can measure the position deviation of the gripping device in relation to the workpiece in six degrees of freedom, enabling the robot to adjust its position to ensure precise and accurate placement of the workpiece.
