Through the Glass Darkly – Exploring the Crucial Factors of Human Perception

In short, the problem is the failure to adequately distinguish between variables and the values of those variables. Through the glass darkly summarises the necessary epistemological structure of all observers’ vis a vis the external world. For humanity, using the analogy of looking through the glass, the paper explores the two crucial factors of human perception, the structure of the perceptual field derived from the perceptual field generator referred to as Reality (capital intended). Second, that which we, humans, project onto the glass. The ideas we use to interpret the epistemological structure within the glass. This position is not stand alone being derived from the general theory of psychology of ‘Origin’, itself derived from the revision of the methodology of social science.
