In particular, Hispanics with diabetes face increased difficulties, such as needing emergency care for life-threatening complications. These are just a few of the astonishing findings in our newly released patient research report, "Overwhelmed and Underserved: Patient Perspectives on Diabetes in 2022" which reveals the mental, financial, and additional health risks this patient population faces. We surveyed more than 4,000 patients in the U.S. to better understand their sense of well-being in the post-pandemic era.
