Last year  upended traditional ideas of what an office is and looks like, as the COVID-19 pandemic moved employees out of shared workspaces and into their homes. Employers were forced to rethink workplace protocols and invest in safety strategies and remote infrastructures. At the same time, the year’s social and racial unrest has led employers to reevaluate what it means to lead an organization efficiently while finding opportunities for growth, inclusivity, and social empowerment.

It’s clear that the remote workforce is here to stay, but keeping employees comfortable, productive, and empowered in new and evolving work environments requires clear communication plans, innovation in technology, and a reevaluation of what community means.
